So, what does reliance have to do with mangoes?

If you're still wondering and getting your mouth watered, then let's go back to 1997. 

At that time, the biggest mistake that reliance was doing was the huge amount of pollution caused by its Jamnagar refinery. 

Reliance received several notices from the pollution control boards. Reliance knew it would have to do something to solve this big problem. So, they started converting the wastelands of Jamnagar into mango Orchards near the refineries to reduce the pollution.

That orchard was named as "Dhirubhai Ambani Lakhibag Amrayee" it is Asia’s best mango orchard with more than 1.3 plants. It is spread over 600 acres.

The mangoes produced in this orchard are tasty and juicy and are in excellent quality to be widely exported at a global level. It grows more than 120 varieties of mango in 1 600-acre green Field at its Jamnagar refinery complex.
